I have seen a lot of people with these tickers on their blogs to inform visitors about when their babies are due or how old their kids are, but don't you think this is a little extreme? Seriously. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for breastfeeding if you can do it, but who really needs or wants to know how long you've been breastfeeding for? And shouldn't this be the same as the baby's age? If I'm not mistaken, you usually start breastfeeding the day the baby is born, so shouldn't you focus more on how old your baby is rather than how long you have been feeding your baby for and by what method you chose to feed him/her? This is just too weird for me. Okay, I just noticed something else. Is the baby really holding a sign that says "Booby Baby"? This has to be some kind of joke. I honestly don't know what to say. Do people really put these tickers on their blogs? Is this weird to anybody else?

Have you seen the 'Trying to conceive' one??? TOTALLY disturbing. There are some things people should keep to themselves.
Oh my gosh Cassi, I didn't see that one until just now. The breastfeeding one totally caught my attention, but the trying to conceive one further down on the list is even worse! Who would really put that on a blog? I agree, that is TOTALLY disturbing!

Well, listen up Hoopes because I'm about to wow your socks off. I have an acquaintance who has taught her far-too-old-to-be-breast-fed child to tug on the hem of her shirt and say, "Teat Time." Now seriously, what is that about? Who are these people?
I haven't seen that one, or maybe I just haven't paid much attention but all I can say is "wow!" I'm with Cassi, there are some things that should not be posted on a blog, that's just too weird!
This post was just an excuse to show everyone how long you have been breastfeeding! ;)
Oh goodness! It is great to get to know more about people but seriously. I at least haven't seen the breatfeeding or trying to conceive on anyone's actual website. I would be quite disturbed if I did.

I just think this is funny, that here you are, belittling these silly tickers, but here you are, with one currently on your blog! Hilarious! But I totally agree with you.
Good call Beth! :) Maybe the ticker company created the "controversial" tickers to see how many people would blog about and make fun of them. I guess I fell into their trap. :)
